Amrit Group of India joins hand with Nitol - Niloy Group of Bangladesh

Amrit Group of India signs a joint venture agreement with the Nitol - Niloy group of Bangladesh today at Dhaka.

Project envisage investment in various spheres of poultry industry viz., Feed manufacturing, Breeding farm, Hatchery, Commercial farming, Chicken processing etc. with an investment of around USD 10 Million in a time span of 2 - 3 years. This will generate huge employment opportunity in rural parts of the country and help providing good nutrition at an affordable price to the common people of the country. The beginning will be with installation of modern feed plant in north Bangladesh.

Beginning its journey in 1994, Amrit Group today stands out as one of the fastest growing corporate house in India with an annual turnover of BT 2,400 Crores. Growing at a rate of 40% over the last two years, Amrit group has its business as diverse as animal feeds, poultry, processed food and dairy.

The JV agreement was signed today in Dhaka by Mr. Harish Bagla - Managing Director of Amrit Group of Companies, India and Mr. Abdul Musabbir Ahmad - Managing Director of Nitol - Niloy Group, Bangladesh.
